What's New For 2022?
The Dodge Durango lineup gets a full upgrade, adding in more features to improve your Edison, NJ drive. The base SXT now comes with blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and the previously optional third-row seats.
Opting for the GT model now nets you amenities like remote start, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power-operated rear liftgate. The GT Plus now enjoys features like memory settings for the driver, a scuff plate for the rear cargo area, rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated rear seats, and leather-and-suede upholstery.

The new Dodge Durango Interior
The interior cabin of this new SUV comes with a redesigned center console and an advanced dashboard. The infotainment display is slightly inclined towards the driver. Plus, the stack at the center is thinner with better stowage than more recent models.
The deluxe Citadel trim model features heated front and second seats. The SXT models have standard flat-bottomed steering with paddle shifters underneath.
Most trim models feature captain's chairs that replace the second-row bench. This scenario makes it easier to get to the third row, which now is standard for every model in the lineup.
The vehicle has a cargo room of about 17.2 cubic feet behind the rear seats. However, you can fold flat all of its rows to expand this space up to 85.1 cubic feet.
The New Dodge Durango Standard Features
At the lower-trim levels such as the SXT, the standard features include:

- V6 powertrain (with a Sport mode)

Upper trim models add more features like the auto-high beams, navigation, powered tailgate, leather upholstery, sunroof, and more. Models with V8 drivetrains acquire beefier brakes, while SRT models have sport-tuned suspensions.
The 2022 Durango Engine, Transmission, and Performance
The Durango SUV starts with a 3.6-liter V6. This powertrain responds excellently and can tow up to around 6,400 pounds.
The 5.7-liter V8s are optional in Citadel and standard in the R/T trim. The engine generates 360 horsepower, making this SUV ideal for those who require power and performance.
